How does ServeWire integration with Planning Center work?

ServeWire VES integrates with Planning Center in 3 ways; capturing results in custom tabs, utilizing Planning Center signup forms, and capturing applications in custom tabs.


Capturing Results in Custom Tabs


ServeWire VES integrates with your Planning Center database through a one time authorization performed by a Planning Center administrator with rights to both the People and Services applications.  When "Authorized", the connection allows ServeWire to create "Custom Tabs" for each of the test sections in ServeWire (for example Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, Experience). 


When a congregant completes the assessment, the results are pushed to these custom tabs in Planning Center, making that data available to you for creating automations or workflows.



 




Capturing Applications in Custom Tabs


ServeWire VES has an optional module called Positions.   Our Position Listing allows congregants to apply for positions through a contact form. 


If you decide to use this module, ServeWire will also create a custom tab for each position whereby when a congregant completes the assessment and applies for a position, that position will be captured in Planning Center.



Utilizing Planning Center Forms for Applications


Furthermore, you can either use our built in contact form, or utilize a Planning Center contact form which seamlessly works within the application process.
