[CCB] How To Create An API User In CCB

In order for ServeWire VES to “talk” with your CCBchurch.com database, an API user account must be created within CCB.  Login to your CCB website, click on the gear in the top right of the screen, and select “API” from the dropdown menu.  

The “Your API URL” will be used to integrate with ServeWire VES. Make note of this URL. Click on the “Add a new API User” button to the right of the screen.

Under the “User” screen, create the user profile including contact information, then click on the “Services” tab.

Check each API service listed below and click the “Save” button when complete.

• passion_list
• gift_list

• ability_list
• style_list
• update_individual_fit
• individual_profile_from_login_password
• add_individual_to_queue
• individual_search

Now login to ServeWire VES and navigate to the Integrations screen.  Select Church Community Builder from the dropdown menu and enter the API details.
